A Change Will Do You Good.
The past few months have been incredible. And exhausting. But mostly incredible.
Last month I finished construction of my dream home- a project that had been percolating in my brain for many years- and moved in. When people ask I say that I’m “in” but not “settled.” It feels good and it feels right. I love it.
But I can’t do anything halfway and all of those empty moving boxes that were stacking up in my garage gave me an idea… I should move my office too. Because… why not. So here I go.
After 9 years perched in what I consider to be the best office in Wenatchee- corner office, tons of natural light, overlooking downtown with glimpses of the Columbia River, I’m packing up my things and heading exactly 28 steps north to join the crew at The Mercantile coworking space.
It’s bittersweet, but it’s the right move. My former office is large and more space than I need. And, having a private office can get a bit lonely at times and this extrovert likes to be around people. More people, better conference facilities, a much nicer kitchenette, and a new vibe. I’m really looking forward to it.
I’ll be updating everything in the coming days, after I wake for what I’m positive will be a solid 36 hours of sleep. If you haven’t moved lately, I do not recommend it. 0/5 stars.
