Talk Tech, But Make It Whimsical.

Well, that was fun!

I have a client who has been planning to overhaul his company’s website for about 7 years. We’ve talked about it off and on in that time, but for a variety of reasons, the timing was never right.

Well, in Q1 of this year the stars aligned and I got to work. He was very clear about the tone he wanted to convey and I call it “credible techie with a touch of whimsy.” It was a challenging needle to thread.

It’s a fun site and one of my favorites to date. I’m grateful for the honor of leading this project and for the opportunity to really test my writing skills. Yes, the SimplePowerIT crew is techie. Yes, they can solve most tech challenges. Yes, they do cybersecurity monitoring and all the other things you’d expect, but, and this is perhaps the best part, they’re fun, relatable people who speak plainly in a way that you can actually understand. Something that is not often found in tech gurus.
